The BEST 2nd Episode Ever : "The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood"
Updated: Jun 9, 2020
Welcome back, pals!
In the BEST second episode ever, we continued our discussion about The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells.
We rated the book based on several important meta-factors such as : existential inquiry, character development/consistency, neurological responses, whether it paired well with goat cheese....okay, just kidding. We gave it a thumbs up or down, signaling, on the MOST BASIC level, whether we liked the book or not. WE ALL GAVE IT A THUMBS UP! This is a rare occurrence for us...almost as rare as getting through a podcast without Sarah's cell phone buzzing.
We then used a rating scale to flesh out more of our thoughts and opinions about the book.
*Grading Scale A - All Good
B - Better than most
C - Couldv'e been better
D - Disappointing
F - Failure on all levels
Ratings for this book
Holly - B
Mandy - B
Katie - A
Sarah - A

Food : Étouffée, gumbo, boiled shrimp, and, if you are truly Ya-Ya, lots of bourbon (though we don't actually recommend that!)
Attire : Shirley Temple look-a-like
Activity : Play bourré
Favors : Bourbon balls
Location/Decor : At a lake
We hope you enjoyed the book and this episode of the Best Book Club Ever podcast. Be the BEST and leave us a comment!
